Azula stepped out from her dorm, still clutching the trivial piece of paper with her class schedule scribbled onto it. How incompetent they are to think that I wouldn’t know my own place, she thought to herself as she walked down the hallway. Azula wasn’t used to people “thinking” so “ill” of her. She came from a high-society family, and in that world, everyone already knew her, knew what she was capable and certainly did not make judgements.

Of course it would be much like Azula to overexagerate such an inconvenience, making it seem to be much worse than it actually was. And it would be much like her to stumble into someone without much concern for them.

Azula did stumble into someone. Actually, she had fallen from it. Oh how this person was going to get what was coming to them when she got up…

Sakura had been walking down the hall of the dormitories, minding her own business while listening to her Ipod. Unfortunately for Sakura though, was that sometimes when listening to her music she doesn’t pay attention to her surroundings and gets herself into some trouble. Well trouble was just on the menu for her when she accidentally bumped into someone and fell backwards on her butt. “Sorry about that, I didn’t you there for a second!” Sakura said, removing one of her ear buds. “I should pay attention more often.” Sakura laughed awkwardly, scratching the back of her head.

As Sakura got up from the floor and dusted herself off, she extended her hand in order to help the person she bumped into off the floor.

Azula scoffed at the gesture, as if it were an insult and not remorse, in fact, she didn’t take the offer. She got up on her own, and scowled at the pink haired girl in front of her. “How dare you!” Azula scolded, crossing her arms and shifting her weight to her right leg.

“Do you even know who I am?” Azula questioned, propping an eye brow to look at her inquisitively. Her golden eyes flaring with contempt. “On a second note…who are you?” She wanted the detail to put in the back of her mind. She wanted to get back at this girl, to show her her own place.

Sakura slowly but awkwardly retracted her arm back, seeing as the girl in front of her wanted no help whats so ever. “It was just an accident.” Sakura mumbled. “Anyway… sorry to say but I don’t know who you, I just meet you right now.” Sakura said matter of fact. “Also, since you asked, my name is Sakura Haruno. Mind I ask your name?” Sakura said.

Azula was thinking of countless, devious ways to get back at her. Until one plan stuck out sorely to her. She wore a smirk briefly, but pushed it away before looking at the girl apologetically. An expression she would normally never show, if it didn’t fit her purpose well. “Actually, I’m sorry. I should have…” She stumbled on her words. Even faking niceness was hard. She wondered how hard it must have been to be genuinely nice. “Been more careful. My name is Azula. I actually want to…” She choked on the rest of the sentence. “Accompany you.”

Sakura sounded surprised by Azula’s words. “Accompany me?” ‘I thought this girl didn’t want anything to do with me.’ Sakura mentally scoffed. “Uh… sure but I was just going to the library to study and I doubt you’d want to sit there and be bored.” Sakura said. ‘Hopefully she won’t want to come.’ Sakura pleaded in her thoughts.

Azula pushed down a lump in her throat. Was she really going to do this? Then she thought of the pain and humiliation Sakura would feel later on. Of course she was going to do this. “Of course, I would love to come. Don’t be…” She thought for a second for a correct word to use. “Silly? I wanted to check the library out anyway.” She finished, awkwardly laughing at the end. Perhaps the lessons Ty Lee taught her about flirting could work for making friends as well.

“Okay… If you really want to.” Sakura semi smiled. ‘Why is she coming?! It’s obvious she doesn’t like me!’ Sakura mentally questioned herself. Sakura and Azula then started to walk off to the library. Sakura didn’t even bother trying to make small talk since she knew Azula wouldn’t respond. It was  silence the whole walk there.

Once they reached the library, Sakura pointed at an empty table for them to sit at. “Hey Azula, I’ll be right back. I’m going the book I need.” Sakura said as she excused herself.
